Responsibilities:
Onboarding:
Develop and maintain an effective onboarding program for new hires.
Coordinate new employee orientation sessions to introduce company culture, policies, and procedures.
Assist in the completion of necessary paperwork, including employment contracts and benefits enrollment forms.
Conduct initial training sessions or coordinate training with respective departments.
Ensure all required documentation is collected and stored appropriately.
Address new employee questions and concerns during the onboarding process.
Offboarding:
Manage the offboarding process for employees leaving the company, including voluntary resignations, retirements, or terminations.
Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and insights for continuous improvement.
Coordinate the return of company assets and ensure proper clearance procedures are followed.
Process final pay and any applicable severance packages according to company policies and legal requirements.
Recruiting:
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions.
Post job openings on various job boards, company websites, and other relevant platforms.
Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates.
Conduct interviews and assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Assist in the selection process and participate in making hiring decisions.
Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment.
Payroll Administration:
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Verify timekeeping records and resolve any discrepancies.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of payroll transactions.
Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
Assist in resolving employee concerns and conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
Promote a positive work environment and help maintain employee morale.
Manage all employees LOA Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with HR laws and regulations to ensure the company's policies and practices are compliant.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Support efforts related to employee licensing and credentialing, if applicable.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physically and electronically.
Ensure confidentiality and security of employee information.
HR Projects:
Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
