We are a physical therapy practice that believes in providing exceptional care for our patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to provide clerical and hands on assistance/support to our patients.
You will perform a variety of tasks on a daily basis including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, preparing and e-mailing correspondence, maintaining office cleanliness and filing.
Other duties require you to assist the provider with patient care on the floor.
The ideal candidate has a passion for helping others and is willing to learn new skills.
You have excellent communication skills and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
You are able to work independently as well as part of a team.
You are comfortable with technology including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and greet patients; provide excellent customer service Prepare patient appointment confirmations and change letters of correspondence Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies; organize stock Assist patients with individualized plan of care Maintain office filing system; maintain office supplies inventory Maintain medical records per HIPAA regulations (training provided) Keep the reception area organized; maintain cleanliness of reception area (e.

, clean up mailboxes, remove trash, restock office supplies) Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience as a patient care technician
