Onyx Procurement Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst for the Procurement team.
This individual will play a central role in communicating and collaborating with stakeholders, driving outcomes for indirect procurement spend categories, conducting analyses and managing business cases, contracts, and software tools.
As part of a small team with fluid spend category roles and responsibility, the ideal candidate will be able to work independently, manage multiple conflicting priorities and handle a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
The Procurement Department is the resource for purchasing or managing the procurement of products and services.
The main functions are to:
Capture value and/or achieve cost savings Ensure transparency and accountability in the procurement process Drive Supplier Diversity and Sustainability initiatives Coordinates and drives activities and outcomes for a range of spend categories Monitors markets to assess external trends and solutions Develops business cases to communicate insights and recommendations Manages projects from end to end (analysis, recommendation of approach, sourcing, short-listing, negotiation, recommendation of solution, contracting, implementation, change management, etc.
) Creates, modifies, renews, terminates contracts as required Supports/manages the Supplier Diversity initiative Collaborates with internal stakeholders as a trusted resource and advisor Regular interactions to understand objectives and priorities Regular updates on projects and initiatives Balances stakeholder needs, company value, costs, and third party risks Develops and issues regular and ad-hoc spend and savings reports Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations Supports the evolution of Procurement function towards the standardization and automation of tactical activities Ideal Experience 1-4 years of relevant experience Knowledge of or dedication to learn procurement procedures, systems, controls and vendor contracting Competence compiling, assessing, packaging and drawing insights from a variety of data sources and utilizing a variety of analytical tools (e.
g.
Excel) Competence documenting, tracking and driving project deliverables through a combination of direct efforts and team coordination Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to influence and negotiate Ability to take direction and operate independently through ambiguity and change Ability to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service and outcomes Bachelor's degree in related field of study, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Procurement Analyst Supply Chain Analyst Data Analyst Purchasing Analyst Vendor Management Analyst Bookkeeper.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
