Morton Grove, IL We are looking for a Technician that will support all aspects of the Cheese Cultures Manufacturing at the Morton Grove facility.
Responsibilities:
Keeping and maintaining records of daily Pre- Op inspections Tools ensemble and sterilization Assemble and sterilize centrifuge bearings and bowls Assemble packaging pumps and sterilize Assemble and sterilize blenders Disassemble centrifuges The Technician will also be responsible for Starter Media and/or Milk Sterilization Glycerin Sterilization KOH sterilization Sodium Citrate Sterilization Measuring De-Ionized water volume in flask Weighing of Sodium Citrate Powder Mixing of Sodium Citrate powder and water Can Sterilization Milk Preparation Mixing of Milk and Di-Ionized water per formula Cell Paste Transfer to Sterile Buckets Addition of Sterilized Ingredients for Formulation (flask or fermenter) Blending Formulation of Blend Measuring Glycerin volume in Flask or Blend Filler unit set-up - small or large pouch, Code dating Compressed air testing at filler On Packaging Days the technician will be responsible for the following:
Assembly and stamping of white boxes Labeling of Racks Sample collection and QC Testing Boxing of Pouches Fill Liquid nitrogen Tank Fill out packaging record forms Freezing of Boxes Fill out packaging inventory record Product Frozen Storage Qualification:

Diploma 1-2 years of experience working in a GMP regulated, food environment Must be able to lift 50lbs Strong communication skills Ability to work with small groups (Only 5 people total work at this location) Recommended Skills Assembly Food Environment Experience Lab Assistance Apply to this job.
