Summary:
This position is responsible for the management and oversight of the database and information technology network infrastructure and operations; including creating, development and implementation of strategies, plans and budgets that support Lifeway Food's short and long-range objectives related to electronic communication, customer relationship management, and internal information technology reliability. Operating under the guidance of our strategic initiatives, this position will oversee user interface design, development, operation and maintenance for the Lifeway Food's website, management system, and internal network and end user IT infrastructure and operations.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
oLeads and manages all technical development, user interface design, and all other activities which relate to Lifeway technology. Resolves challenges by understanding key drivers and determining system improvements; manages results of efforts and identifies trends; regularly communicates results and recommends new strategies and tactics to increase the effectiveness of the technology systems;
oEnsures that Lifeway's management database assists staff in providing consistent, effective and efficient customer service to Lifeway members and key stakeholders; ensures that the system supports Lifeway's data collection and reporting needs for effective business operations; reviews operational processes to determine and recommend efficiency improvements;
oEnsures efficient system integration between the management system, Lifeway website, internal systems and third party sites;
oDevelops the long-term strategies for Lifeway's management system and external and internal electronic presence;
oMeets financial and strategic objectives through solid planning, budget management and strong project management to ensure Lifeway's electronic strategies are realized on-time and on-budget;
oLeads cross-functional teams to meet the objectives of the organization through well-designed and useful technology.
oCoordinates relationship between Lifeway and its management system vendor and its website provider. Identifies, analyzes, selects and manages out-of-house resources for technical enhancements for both the website and the management system;
oDevelops and recommends management system and information technology guidelines; communicates these to staff on a regular basis; follows Lifeway's existing policies, procedures, standards of operation and tests for all aspects of project implementation, maintenance and improvement; reviews and recommends revisions to policies, procedures and guidelines as needed;
oManages the installation, upgrades and maintenance of all network related equipment including server/host hardware, software, printers, switches, firewalls, and routers to ensure peak performance;
oPerform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
oExcellent project management experience with the ability to manage and oversee multiple projects, working collaboratively with other staff and departments to accomplish successful results on deadline and on budget;
oExperience that demonstrates a good understanding of Information Technology and Data Communication concepts, practices, procedures, and capabilities;
oMinimum five years experience evaluating, troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining network systems for an organization of at least 50 users;
oAt least five years experience in strategic and program planning including effectively developing and managing objectives and measures, program activities, and budgets;
oFive years in a management supervisory position with experience in training and coaching of direct reports;
oWorking knowledge of relational databases, back end programming (SQL and C# .Net) and content management software;
oUnderstanding of HTML, CSS, forms design, literature conversion, video and audio conversion, e-commerce, and web 2.0 technologies;
oStrong knowledge of new and emerging media, associated technology and applications required. (.NET, Content Management Systems);
oCompetency in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Front Page;
oExcellent time management and strong organizational and analytical skills;
oExcellent oral and written communication and presentation skills required;
oDuties require ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds.

Education and
Experience:
oB.A in Information Technology related field or equivalent experience;
oSeven to Ten years of progressive Information Technology management experience with knowledge of association management systems especially netFORUM, content management systems, hardware, software, e-commerce, and system integration;
oCertification desired; A+, Security+, MCSE (or similar certification), CCNA, and CCEA.
oExperience presenting proposals and presentations to senior management;
oExperience in a .Net environment preferred;
oExperience with food manufacturing is a plus.
Comments:
This position works closely with all departments and staff at Lifeway Foods. This position will require some evening and weekend work. Employee must have the ability to travel.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
