Customer Service Manager

Niles Area (Northern Suburbs of Chicago)
You will be a "working supervisor" and not only oversee the Customer Service Team, but also participate in the daily operations of the department. This is a growing company where you will have many opportunities for both professional growth and career advancement.
As a part of the 'team' your duties will include:
oLearning the products and services of the company
oResponding to customer calls and emails
oReceiving and processing orders
oAssisting customers to choose the correct product to purchase
oSending out samples as needed
As supervisor of the 'team" your duties will include:
oRunning scheduled reports on orders and backorders
oHandling any escalated customer service situations
oReviewing any pricing discrepancies and resolving them with the sales department
oTaking order cancellations
oAuthorizing returns and refunds
oEvaluating and reviewing current team members
oDeveloping a training and mentoring plan for future hires
oDetermining priorities for your team
oAlways working to increase efficiency in the department
The skills and experience required for this position include:
oA four year degree in any major
oAt least three years of customer service or call center experience from within a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
oAt least one year of management, supervisory or team leadership experience
oIntermediate to advanced MS Office skills
oExcellent communication skills
oExcellent leadership skills
oMust have the ability to collect and interpret data and act on the results
oMust have a positive, upbeat attitude
oMust be willing to see things through to their conclusion
Any experience from within the manufacturing and/or distribution of consumer products is also a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
