Utility Packager

Essential Functions:
Monitors production for quality and performance issues. Performs quality inspections.
Starts, unjams and stops machines in a safe manner and in accordance with the standard.
Operates multiple machines simultaneously.
Stops line when quality or production issues arise and notifies the proper associate.
Performs Material Supplier functions as needed (supplies components to stations, ensures adequate levels, closes out run using proper procedures, etc.)
Verifies correct packer counts and production quantities.
Communicates equipment or production issues at time of rotation.
Minimizes component and finished goods losses by salvaging as much as possible.
Prepares all paperwork required to support production, such as labor tracking, runtime & efficiency, and drug sheets.
Takes a leadership role and can staff production lines based on production schedule and availability of labor. Follows safety policies and maintains good housekeeping in work area.
Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Requires eye/hand coordination and the ability to oversee the running of multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously.
Must be capable of learning a computer system within 3 months.

Reasoning/Problem Solving Ability:
Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Able to deal with simple problems, though may require supervision.
Language Skills:
Able to effectively present information and respond to questions in written and oral format from Management and associates.
Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals without Advisor explanation.
Quantitative Skills:
Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Physical Demands:
Must work at the rate required to meet line standards.
Frequently on feet for extended periods of time.
Frequent lifting of 50 lbs.
Physical dexterity, repetitive hand and wrist movement.
Occasional climbing of stairs and ladders.
Work Environment:
Must follow all GMP's as required.
Must comply with all PPE requirements.
Frequently operates calculator/keyboard.
Work in packaging environment producing cosmetics, fragrances and toiletries.
Exposure to odors, noise, temperature fluctuations and fork lift traffic.
Exposure to hazardous materials and cleaning solutions.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to work extended hours as needed.
Must be able to work flexible work hours depending on business need.
Must achieve a minimum Wonderlic score of 1 in Math and 1 in Verbal.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
